Stoke Mode ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our iOS application.

Stoke Mode is designed to help content creators spend less time scrolling and more time creating. We believe your data should stay yours.

Information We Collect

Screen Time Data

Stoke Mode uses Apple's Screen Time API (Family Controls framework) to help you monitor and manage your app usage. This includes:

• Break session duration and frequency
• Apps you choose to block or limit
• Your custom usage goals and schedules

Important: All Screen Time data is processed locally on your device. We do not have access to, collect, or store your Screen Time data on our servers. This data never leaves your device.

Account Information

If you create an account, we may collect:

• Email address (for account recovery and important updates)
• Your display name (optional)

Analytics Data

We may collect anonymous, aggregated analytics to improve the app experience. This data cannot be used to identify you personally and includes general usage patterns and app performance metrics.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the Stoke Mode app
• Enable Screen Time tracking and app blocking features
• Send important account and service updates
• Improve and optimize the app experience

Data Storage and Security

Your Screen Time data is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's secure frameworks. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect any data you choose to share with us.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

Third-Party Services

Stoke Mode uses Apple's Family Controls and Screen Time APIs to provide its core functionality. These services are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

We may use third-party services for analytics and crash reporting. These services collect anonymous data and are bound by their own privacy policies.

AI-Powered Channel Analysis

Stoke Mode offers an optional AI-powered channel analysis feature. When you use this feature:

Data Shared with Third Parties

• Your YouTube channel statistics (subscriber count, video count, view counts)
• Your video titles and publication dates
• Video engagement metrics (likes, comments)

This data is sent to OpenAI's API to generate personalized recommendations. OpenAI processes this data according to their Privacy Policy and API Data Usage Policy.

Important: OpenAI's API does not use data submitted via their API to train their models.

Data Retention: Analysis results are cached locally on your device for 24 hours. We do not store your channel data on our servers.

Opting Out: This feature is optional. If you don't use the "Analyze Channel" feature, no data is shared with OpenAI.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Delete your account and associated data
• Opt out of analytics collection
• Revoke Screen Time permissions at any time through iOS Settings

Children's Privacy

Stoke Mode is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
